This place is fantastic! In short, the service, food, and atmosphere are all top-shelf. Highly recommended when a nice dinner is in order.
To start, we were greeted at the front door by a personable manager who checked us in, and immediately led us to our table – we never had to interface with a front desk. The waiter was unobtrusive and very attentive, and the timing for all the dishes and drinks was spot on.
The menu has a nice blend of modern cuisine consisting of upscale American with some Asian elements. We each started with a salad; my girlfriend said her Spinach Arugula salad was one of the best she had ever had. With fried goat cheese, candied walnuts, and granny smith apples, she was practically in tears as she scrapped her fork against an empty plate – she did some work! I had the simple Wedge salad and it was fresh, clean, and infused with creamy bacon goodness. The main courses were both smack-you-in-the-mouth delicious. I had the Braised Beef Short Ribs atop a bed of mushroom mac-n-cheese; I literally wanted to curl into a ball and lick my hands in private – so good! The beef fell apart when my fork brushed against it; I had no idea meat could be so tender. My girlfriend had the Rainbow Trout which was perfectly cooked, seasoned, and well presented. Little details like wrapping the lemon in cheesecloth to retain the seeds made eating here a true delight.
The star of the meal was the dessert. Do yourself a favor and try the Coconut Sesame Bread Pudding. Sweet God! This dessert was so heavenly, it literally will make you want to dip your big toe in it. One of the tastiest desserts I have ever had; I smell it in my dreams.
All to say, this restaurant has its act together. Impeccable service, great food, and a beautiful soft modern decor made this a romantic dinner to remember. Hats off Artin, … your Grill is the Unicorn of the culinary world – very rare and quite magical. – ABB
